Cuban father and Russian mother, a mixture that throughout his life influenced his training as a professional musician. He began his studies in Havana, Cuba, at the National School of Music, under the tutelage of his mother, the pianist Irina Samodaeva and the great teacher Ofelia Montalvan. Later in 1988 he won the contest to study at the Academy of Music, for talented children “I. Stoliarsky ”, in Odessa, Ukraine, where she works with Professor T. Fomina and later moved to Volgograd, Russia to study and finish her baccalaureate in the same area, at the prestigious“ A.

Álvaro Sevilla, Assistant

He was born in Santiago de Compostela in 2002. He finished his Bachelor's Degree in 2020, accessing the ABAU selection system, finally entering the Bachelor's Degree in English Philology with a Mention in German Philology. Already, the following year he finished the Professional Historical Conservatory. He took the entrance exams to the Conservatory of Music of A Coruña, obtaining a place in the Orchestral and Choral Conducting Specialty.

Abraham Tena Manrique, Assistant

In April 2018, Abraham Tena Manrique is appointed President of the WPTA-SPAIN-COMPOSITION (World Piano Teachers Association). The WPTA is an association that exists in more than thirty countries around the world, in which it annually organizes conferences, piano competitions, composition, chamber music, as well as recitals and masterclasses.

Born on July 27, 1996 in Turkey. In high school she started to study in Istanbul University State Conservatory when she finished she started to study with Pablo Galdo in Conservatorio Superior de la Musica de Vigo in Spain (2014-….). She attended masterclasses of  Professor Sthephen

He began his piano studies at age 6 at the Conservatorio de las Rosas, institution where he later completed his baccalaureate studies with Master Yadira López and a degree in music under the direction of the Maestro Alexander Pashkov and Gellya Dubrova in chamber music.

Betty Cortiñas, ASISTANTE

Betty Cortiñas Lorenzo (Mos) started to play the piano at the age of 9 and from 2011 until 2016 she studied at the Professional Conservatory of Vigo. During these years, Betty joined the Conservatory ́s Senior Orchestra as soloist and became interested in composition. Among the pieces composed during this time, one was awarded in a contest that made Betty expeditionary in Ruta Quetzal 2016.

Ángel was born in A Coruña in 2000. He is a flautist since he is 10. Currently, he is studying the flute bachelor in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de A Coruña and in Luca School of Arts Leuven. He is also working as a teacher.

Nádia Vicente was born in Camacan, Bahia, Brazil.
Graduated in Biology from the State University of Santa Cruz - UESC, Bahia.
As a musician, he was part of the Symphony Orchestra of Bahia as violinist and violist.
Besides, she is student of International Relations and nowdays develops activities in the Association of Classical Music of Galicia in the area of institutional relations, administrative activities and events such as the International Piano Competition "City of Vigo".
