Betty Cortiñas Lorenzo (Mos) started to play the piano at the age of 9 and from 2011 until 2016 she studied at the Professional Conservatory of Vigo. During these years, Betty joined the Conservatory ́s Senior Orchestra as soloist and became interested in composition. Among the pieces composed during this time, one was awarded in a contest that made Betty expeditionary in Ruta Quetzal 2016.

She currently studies her second year at the Superior Conservatory of Vigo with Pablo Galdo and she ́s completing her third year of Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Vigo. Passionate about technology and music, Betty has improved her pianist skills with masters such as Pablo Galdo, Andras Kemenes, Laura Cattaneo, Ivan Cítera and Veronika Vitaite. She has taken improvisation courses with Douglas Finch and has also participated as a student in the Forum Musikae (Madrid, July 2017).
